Christmas Pressies 2015

Hope you all had a good Christmas and today I'm going to show you what presents I received this year.
Christmas Pressies 2015 (1)
My main present from my mum this year was a Tatty Teddy slanket. I've wanted a slanket for a while as it's rather cold in my flat and it would be handy to use while I'm on the computer. We found this one is Marks & Spencer so grabbed it as I love Tatty Teddy.
Christmas Pressies 2015 (2)
My dad got me this cute kitty cushion as it looks a bit like one of my cats. He also got me the Tokidoki Kabuki Brush, Tokidoki Mirror and Tokidoki Makeup Bag. I love the Tokidoki stuff it's so cute.
Christmas Pressies 2015 (3)
My mum also got me some notebooks and coloured pens as she knows I love stationery and I will be adding these to my stationery box.
Christmas Pressies 2015 (4)
The last items I got were these Tatty Teddy fluffy pyjamas from my dad and Tatty Teddy Socks from my mum.

I also got a nail polish set and some bath products which I forgot to photograph.

Video: Spooky Box Club October Unboxing

I uploaded my first video to YouTube! I'm so nervous and excited about it, I hope it's not too bad. I did want my first video to be a makeup look but as I've not been well the past week I haven't got round to editing it yet and I wanted to put a video up before the end of the year. So my first video is an unboxing of the Spooky Box Club for October and then hopefully my makeup video will be up next Sunday.

Sudafed Blocked Nose Spray

I have a cold and for me the most annoying part about it is having a blocked nose. A few nights ago I didn't sleep at all as I wasn't able to breathe properly. During that night I did some googling and found that nasal sprays were supposed to be quite good at helping with a blocked nose. I waited all night until my mum got up in the morning so she could take me to buy some, I got the Sudafed Blocked Nose Spray and it is amazing!
Sudafed Blocked Nose Spray
I was a bit of a baby the first time using it as I was worried it was going to feel like when you get water up your nose but surprisingly you can't really feel it much. It takes a few minutes to work and then you are able to breathe freely. The Sudafed spray lasts up to 10 hours so you can spray it about 3 times a day if needed. It doesn't get rid of a blocked nose but it helps relieve the discomfort until the cold has gone.

I've had this cold for nearly a week now and I'm really hoping it goes before Christmas Day as I want to enjoy the lovely roast dinner.

Have you tried nose sprays before?
Is there anything you use to help with a cold?

Sticker Haul #2

Here's another sticker haul, I'm totally addicted and want to buy so many but I have to control myself and just buy a few at a time.

I bought from two shops this time and the first one is PlanWithJade. I bought some stickers from her before and they were good quality so thought I'd get some more. I got a few of the sheets from her Wizard Of Oz set, the full boxes, half boxes and decorative sheet. I love the Wizard Of Oz and these look so cute, I can't wait to do a weekly spread with these.
PlanWithJade Stickers (1)
I also got the pamper icons sheet for reminders of when I need to do my hair and wash my brushes etc. The last sheet I got is Christmas themed decorative stickers as it is that time of year, I love the cute little Rudolf.
PlanWithJade Stickers (2)
The second shop I bought from is StickWithMe and I bought two orders from them. These stickers are definitely some of my favourites as they are really cute and eventually I will own everything from the shop.

From the first order I got a lovely Autumn themed sheet with flags and decorative stickers. I got some cute exercise icons as I'm trying to work some exercise into my week and hopefully they'll motivate me.
StickWithMe Stickers (1)
I wanted to get so many of their stickers but I tried to pick some practical ones first for things that I write in my planner like these cleaning and food shopping icons. I love their cute little faces. Also included was a free sampler sheet in the middle.
StickWithMe Stickers (2)
The next bunch of stickers I bought was on Black Friday with her sale, I just couldn't resist. As it was coming up to Christmas I got a lot of Christmas themed stickers this time. In my planner I list everything I want to do each day so I got these cute check boxes to use.
StickWithMe Stickers (3)
I got a couple of decorative sticker sheets as they are just so cute. One is Christmas themed and the other is just Winter themed.
StickWithMe Stickers (4)
The last sheet I got was this countdown to Christmas stickers and the free sampler with this order is New Year's themed which also includes a countdown.
StickWithMe Stickers (5)
I've recently ordered some more stickers so they'll probably be another haul coming soon.

Let me know of any cute stickers you've bought?

Review: COLAB Dry Shampoo in Tokyo

Todays review is on the COLAB Dry Shampoo in Tokyo and I have to say I was actually disappointed with this product. I've seen the COLAB dry shampoo in a lot of bloggers and YouTubers favourites so thought this was going to be a great dry shampoo.

Packaging
The packaging of the COLAB Dry Shampoo in Tokyo is lovely and pink and the product has a nice floral scent. There's also have five other scents I think which have different colour packaging.
COLAB Dry Shampoo in Tokyo
Application
The application is the same as most other dry shampoos, you just spray onto the roots of the hair. There's a slight white cast but not too much and then you just rub in the product and style.

Outcome
This dry shampoo gives a lot of volume to the hair but I found it left my hair feeling quite a horrible texture, rather dry and not very moveable. My hair actually felt worse after applying this product so for now I'll be sticking to the Batiste dry shampoo.

Where to buy
Superdrug - £2.49

Have you tried any of the COLAB dry shampoos? What did you think of them?

December Goals

Let's recap on my goals for November:

Decorate my planner with stickers - I didn't do a very good job with this one, I started to do it but then I just didn't have enough stickers to do what I wanted so I've kind of put this on hold until I get some more.

Eat a bit healthier - Again I didn't do very well with this one although I think I may have eaten less sweets and cakes than last month.

Practice filming - I actually did this one, I only did one practice video but that's better than nothing. I would have tried to do more but as I've spent a lot of this month at my mums it's been difficult.

Now onto December's goals

Make my flat look festive - I did make much effort last year in my flat so this year I really want to decorate more and make it look festive. I've put my tree up already but it's looking a bit bare so I need to get some more decorations for it. If I can get my flat looking nice then I may do a post on all my decorations.

Upload first YouTube video - This is going to be a big one for me but I really want to do this by the end of the year. I've got ideas for a few videos so hopefully I can film, edit and upload them even though I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing but it will be a fun experience.

Join at least one Twitter chat - I always mean to join the #bbloggers chat on Wed and Sun but then when it comes to it I always forget so I'd like to try and join in one this month.

What are some of your goals for the month?

November 2015 Favourites

I haven't got that many favourites this month as I've been spending a lot of the month at my mums helping her get ready for moving house.

Garnier Moisturiser
Garnier Moisturiser
I mentioned in my review on this product that it had become my new favourite moisturiser so obviously I had to include it in my November favourites as this is the first full month I've been using it. Until I find something that's just as good or better then I will continue to use this moisturiser for as long as needed.

World Of Warcraft
November 2015 Favourites
After watching the trailer for the new World Of Warcraft expansion Legion I was really in the mood for playing again so I subbed for a month and I've been enjoying playing on my own and with my sister the past few weeks. I love the panda race, they're just so cute.

This month I have a couple of music favourites which I've been listening to many times on repeat.

Demi Lovato - Confident

Panic At The Disco - Emperors New Clothes

So there's my very small favourites for November
Let me know what you've been loving through November?

Wishlist: Christmas Decorations

On 1st December I plan on putting up my Christmas decorations but I'll need to buy some new ones as I won't be able to use last years as I believe it was those that made my cat Cookie ill and he kept dribbling everywhere. I will be using the same tree and hope that doesn't cause any problems but I will be buying some felt decorations to put on it. Another problem I have is that my other cat Fudge is still a kitten and likes to chew wires sometimes so I won't be able to put lights on my tree but I have found some felt ones just for decoration. All these problems having cats but I love them.

Review: Garnier Moisture Match Mattifying Fresh Cream

I've wanted to try the Garnier Moisture Match Mattifying Fresh Cream for a while so when my moisturiser ran out I went for this one. I bought the version for combination to oily skin to match my skin type. It's supposed to help reduce shine and contains green tea extract which is an anti oxidant and leaves skin smooth and matte. It's oil free and quick to absorb and also says it provides 24 hour hydration.
Garnier Moisture Match Mattifying Fresh Cream (1)
The packaging of the actual product is rather plain and each of the different skin types have a different colour for the packaging. As you can see the combination to oily skin has green packaging. The product itself is quite thick and has a slight green tinge to it but this does not make your face look green.
Garnier Moisture Match Mattifying Fresh Cream (2)
I think this is probably my favourite moisturiser that I've ever used so far. It rubs into the skin really lovely and leaves my skin feeling soft and matte which is definitely what I want. I don't want any of that shininess on my face. I have found that it keeps my face quite matte throughout the day. I've been using this for a few weeks now and my skin definitely feels and looks better.

You can buy this for £3.99 from Superdrug.

What's your favourite moisturiser?

Sticker Haul #1

Recently I've been seeing a lot of YouTube videos on decorating your planner with stickers. I already have a small sticker collection and they have just been sitting in my stationery box so after seeing these videos I thought I could start decorating my planner with them. I also found a lot more stickers I want to get on Etsy so I will gradually be buying them but for now here's my first sticker haul from three Etsy stores.

The first store is PlanWithJade where I spent £10.01. I bought some blogging and social media icons for planning out my blog stuff each week. I love cute little gingerbread men so when I saw these decorative boxes I had to get them to use at Christmas time. I wanted to make my order at least £10 so I added a little kitty pen which I will be using to write in my planner.
PlanWithJade Stickers
The next store is xsugarhuix where I spent £10.64. All these stickers are just decorative, they're cute and pretty so I had to get them. I got a couple Disney princess themed sheets, a Wizard of Oz sheet, a Piggy Girl sheet and some cute kitty flake stickers.
xsugarhuix‏ Stickers
The last store is CuteThingsFromJapan where I spent £8.59. Again these are all decorative stickers, Ariel is my favourite Disney princess so I had to get some of these stickers, I think they might have a few others which I will also need to get. I got some Halloween decorative boxes which I was going to use this Halloween but I didn't get round to it so I may save them for next year or just use them throughout the year.
CuteThingsFromJapan Stickers (1)
Also from the same shop, they sent some freebies in a cute Halloween packet. There was a little thank you note, some flakes of stickers in a pretty envelope, some washi tape samples and a mini chocolate which was delicious.
CuteThingsFromJapan Stickers (2)
I love all the stickers that I bought and I can not wait to buy some more from these shops so keep a look out for more sticker hauls in the future.

Do you have a planner you decorate?

November Goals

First let's recap on my goals for October:

Keep to my blogging schedule - I didn't do too well on this one as I only posted 5 times in October but I had to help my mum a lot and stayed round her house a lot so didn't have access to all my stuff.

Do at least one Halloween makeup look - I managed to do this one just about, it wasn't the best but I'm happy with it.

Do some exercise once a week - I absolutely failed at this one, I just find it so hard to motivate myself to do exercise.

Read the Harry Potter books and watch the films - I only read and watched Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone so I didn't get too far with these but I'm currently reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and I'll just continue going through them.

Onto Novembers goals:

Decorate my planner with stickers - I bought some stickers last month for this and there will be a haul coming soon.

Eat a bit healthier - I've eaten so many cakes and sweets last month and I want to cut down on this and lose a bit of weight too.

Practice filming - One of my goals for this year was to start doing YouTube videos and we are now getting close to the end of the year and I still haven't done one. This month I'm going to try filming and hopefully I can get my first video up before the end of the year.

What are your goals for November?

Halloween Panda Look

For you today is my first Halloween look and my inspiration for this one was this.
Halloween Panda Look (1)
I got my onesie from Primark a few years but I did see a panda one in H&M this year. My booties were from Tesco a few months ago and I just added some black gloves.
Here's my impression of a panda on Halloween.
Halloween Panda Look (2)
The face makeup didn't come out quite as well as expected due to the products used. I bought some black and white cream face paint from Tesco for a pound and I found it quite difficult to apply. After putting it on my face it actually felt like it was burning a bit so I would not recommend getting this.
Halloween Panda Look (3)
Cookie also wanted to be in the pictures so here we are together.

What are you going to be for Halloween?

Review: Makeup Revolution Mermaids vs Unicorns Palette

Makeup Revolution Mermaids Vs Unicorns Palette
When the Makeup Revolution Mermaids vs Unicorns Palette came out I knew I had to get not just because of the name but because I love colour eyeshadows and these are just beautiful. The palette contains 12 gorgeous shimmery colours, mainly greens and blues with a few purple shades.
Makeup Revolution Mermaids Vs Unicorns Palette (1)
Makeup Revolution Mermaids Vs Unicorns Palette (2)
Makeup Revolution Mermaids Vs Unicorns Palette (3)
When I used this palette for the first time I was worried there might be fallout so I did my eyes before my foundation but I was pleasantly surprised as there was no fallout at all. I found all the colours to be quite pigmented and they blended out lovely. You can see a makeup look I created with this palette here and I will be doing another look using the colours that I didn't use in that one.
The longevity of these eyeshadows is amazing as well, I wore these on my eyes all day so at least 8 hours and they still looked fantastic.

If you're a fan of bright shimmery shades then this is a great palette for you.

You can buy this for £4 at Superdrug.

Have you tried this palette? What do you think of it?

FeelUnique Haul #1

This is the first time I've made an order from FeelUnique and I'm sure I'll be making many more purchases from them. I only got four products this time but there was one product I really wanted and then I just made up the order for free delivery.

The first product is the Garnier Pure Active Anti Blackhead Deep Pore Wash (£2.85) which I got as a while ago I noticed a blackhead just on the edge of my lip, such an annoying place. So I will be trying this out and hopefully it will get rid of it. The next product is the Garnier Pure Active Micellar Cleansing Water (£3.49), I've seen so many bloggers and YouTubers go on about micellar cleansing water I thought I'd give it a go.
FeelUnique Haul (1)
Next up is the Garnier Moisture Match 24H Mattifying Fresh Cream (£3.99), I'm starting to run out of moisturiser so needed to get a new. The last product I got is  the COLAB Dry Shampoo in Tokyo (£2), I'm trying to find a new dry shampoo as I'm not too keen on the Batiste ones, they smell nice but I don't like the white residue they leave on the hair. I just went for the small size as I don't know what it's going to be like.

October Goals

I don't usually set myself goals for the month but after seeing a lot of other bloggers doing it I thought it might be a good way for me to try and get things done. So at the beginning of each month I'll set myself some goals and review the previous months to see how I got on.

Keep to my blogging schedule
The past few weeks I haven't really posted on the blog and I really want to so this month I want to try to keep to my schedule of three posts a week.

Do at least one Halloween makeup look
I don't think I done any last year and I said to myself that I wanted to do some this year but we're getting closer to Halloween and I haven't even thought about it yet so hopefully I can get one done for you guys.

Do some exercise once a week
At the moment I'm not doing any exercise and my doctor has actually told me to do some to help with my anxiety and depression as it's quite bad at the moment. I'll start off this month doing some just once a week and then I'll build it up and hopefully I'll get into a routine.

Read the Harry Potter books and watch the films
I've never read the Harry Potter books and I've been meaning to for ages so I've borrowed them off my mum and this month I'm going to read them. After reading the books then I'd like to watch all of the films again.

Do you set yourself goals for the month?

Review: Avon Colortrend Comb It Mascara

Todays review is on the Avon Colortrend Comb It Mascara. I must have tried nearly all the Avon mascaras now and I bought this one as I thought it'd be good to get close to the base of the lashes as I always find that difficult when applying my mascara.
Avon Colortrend Comb It Mascara
This is from their Colortrend range which I think is tailored more to the younger age group. It has some lovely bright green packaging so you're not likely to lose this in your makeup drawer. The bristles are quite small and only on one side of the wand, very much like a comb.
Avon Colortrend Comb It Mascara (2)
It has a very wet formula and there always looks to be lots of product on the wand as not much is scraped off when you pull it out of the tube. The application is super easy and you can get really close to the base of the lashes. It separates the lashes and gives quite a natural look.
Avon Colortrend Comb It Mascara (3)
This would be perfect as a base coat for your lashes which I will probably use it for or maybe just for your lower lashes due to the small wand.

You can buy this for £4.50 from Avon
